These terms and conditions (the "Terms") apply when you, as a private individual (consumer), purchase products from Rebel Against Ordinary Design via our website www.raod.se, regardless of whether you order from Sweden, another EU/EEA country, the United Kingdom, or Norway.
The Terms are based on Swedish law (the Swedish Distance Contracts Act, SFS 2005:59, and the Swedish Consumer Sales Act, SFS 2022:260); however, since we sell to consumers in several countries, mandatory consumer protection rules under the relevant national legislation also apply where required (see Section 13).
Private individuals only: Our webshop is intended exclusively for private individuals (consumers) purchasing for purposes outside their trade, business, or profession. We do not sell to companies, associations, or other legal entities through the website, and orders placed for business purposes or for resale are not covered by these Terms and may be rejected or cancelled by us. By placing an order, you confirm that the purchase is made as a private individual.

We design our own original prints, which are printed to order on garments and accessories (e.g. t-shirts, hoodies), and sell them through our webshop to customers in Sweden, the rest of the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom, and Norway.
2. Formation of the Contract
A purchase agreement is formed when you place your order in the webshop and we confirm it via an order confirmation sent to your e-mail address. We recommend that you keep the order confirmation for future reference.
3. Prices, VAT, and Payment
All prices in the webshop are shown inclusive of applicable VAT for the country of delivery. The price shown at checkout is the total amount you pay to us. No additional VAT charges will be added by us.
Customs duties and import charges are not included. We do not handle customs duties, import VAT, or other charges that may be levied by customs authorities or the carrier upon delivery to countries outside the EU customs union (e.g. the United Kingdom and Norway). If such charges apply under the rules of the destination country, you as the customer are responsible for these costs, which are payable directly to the customs authority or carrier upon delivery. We recommend that customers in the United Kingdom or Norway check in advance what charges may apply in their country.
We reserve the right to adjust prices, but the price applicable at the time of your order is the one that applies.
Payment is made using the payment methods offered at checkout. Any payment fees (e.g. invoice fees) will be stated separately during checkout.
4. Ordering, Production, and Delivery
Our products are printed to order ("print on demand") after you place your order, which means there is a certain production time before the item is shipped. The estimated production and delivery time is stated at the time of ordering and in the order confirmation. Any delays will be communicated to you by e-mail.
Delivery time: The estimated delivery time is 8 to 10 working days. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we reserve the right to extend the delivery time in accordance with our suppliers' delivery schedules.
The stated delivery time is indicative only and not guaranteed. The date refers to the expected time at which the goods are anticipated to arrive at Rebel Against Ordinary Design, ready to be dispatched to you as the buyer.
Rebel Against Ordinary Design cannot be held liable for delays in delivery caused by the failure of third parties, such as suppliers or transport companies, or by any other event constituting force majeure (see Section 10). This applies to ordinary delays and does not limit your statutory rights under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act. Should a delay become so significant that it constitutes a material breach of contract, you retain the right to cancel the purchase, claim damages, or exercise your right of withdrawal under Section 6, notwithstanding the above.
We are responsible for the goods during transport until you, as the consumer, have received them. Please inspect the parcel upon receipt. Any transport damage must be reported to us and the carrier immediately.
5. Intellectual Property and Design Ownership
All original prints, motifs, and graphics used on our products are created by or for Rebel Against Ordinary Design and are protected by copyright under the Swedish Copyright Act (SFS 1960:729) and the corresponding legislation in the EU and the United Kingdom, whether or not they are registered. New and original designs are normally also covered by unregistered European Union design right for three years from the date the design was first made available to the public within the EU, and by the equivalent supplementary unregistered design right in the United Kingdom.
The names RUDE, SINNER, RUDE GAMERS, RUDE SKATERS, RUDE STREETWEAR, REBEL, and RUDE KID are used by us as signs and sub-brands for our product lines. We reserve the right to register these as trademarks and to oppose confusingly similar or misleading use of them by others, to the extent possible under applicable trademark, marketing, and competition law.
The garment you buy is yours. You own the item you paid for. You may wear it, alter it for your own use, lend it, give it away, or sell that individual item on. We place no restriction on what you do with the physical product.
What you may not do is reproduce the artwork. Without our express written permission, you may not:
- Reproduce, copy, distribute, or commercially exploit our designs, prints, or graphics as artwork, in any medium.
- Create new works based on our original designs.
- Apply our designs, motifs, or signs, modified or not, to other products.
- Remove or obscure a copyright or other intellectual property notice on our products or website.
In short: buying a printed hoodie gives you the hoodie, not a licence to the print. Unauthorised reproduction may lead to legal action under the applicable Swedish, EU, and UK copyright, design, and marketing law.
6. Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)
As a consumer within the EU/EEA and the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days for distance purchases (Sweden: the Distance Contracts Act; corresponding rules apply under the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU for other EU/EEA countries, and under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for customers in the United Kingdom).
Since our garments are printed to order but feature ready-made designs owned by us, the products are not considered "made to the consumer's specifications" or to have "been clearly personalised". You therefore have the full 14-day right of withdrawal, just as with the purchase of stocked goods.
- Withdrawal period: 14 days after you receive the product.
- Condition: The garment must not have been used, washed, worn, or altered. Tags must remain attached, and the item must be returned in its original condition and packaging where possible.
- How to exercise your right of withdrawal: Notify us by e-mail (info@raod.se) or use the standard withdrawal form (available on request). We recommend keeping proof that the notice was sent.
- Refund: Issued within 14 days of us receiving your withdrawal notice or the returned item, using the same payment method as the original transaction.
- Return costs: You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
- Diminished value: You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and function of the goods (e.g. visible wear, stains, odour, pet hair), which may be deducted from your refund.
- Extended withdrawal period: If we have failed to inform you of your right of withdrawal, the period is extended to 12 months after the expiry of the original period.
Upcoming change (from 19 June 2026): A dedicated "withdrawal button" will be made available on the website in accordance with new Swedish legislation implementing EU Directive 2023/2673.
7. Faulty Goods
If something arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you have statutory rights that apply regardless of anything written in these Terms. A legal guarantee of conformity applies to everything we sell, and the mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live applies in full (see Section 13).
How to report a fault: e-mail us at info@raod.se, give your order number, describe the problem, and attach photos if you can. We will reply with how we propose to put it right. You will not be asked to pay to return a faulty item.
8. Right to Cancel an Order Before Delivery
You always have the right to cancel an order before delivery. If we have incurred costs in connection with the order, we may be entitled to claim compensation from you for these.
9. Product Safety and Chemicals
Our garments and packaging comply with applicable EU regulations (e.g. REACH) as well as corresponding UK and Norwegian regulations on chemical substances in consumer goods. Please contact us with any questions about materials and content.
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (war, natural disaster, government action, pandemic, major operational disruptions, and similar) that we could not reasonably have foreseen or avoided.
11. Personal Data (Privacy)
We process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. Full information is available in our privacy policy.
12. Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms. Changes will be published on the website. Orders already placed are governed by the Terms that applied at the time the order was placed.
13. Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Swedish law.
That choice can never reduce your rights. We sell and deliver to consumers in Sweden, the rest of the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom, and Norway, and we direct our marketing and webshop at customers in those countries. You are therefore always entitled to the mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live, wherever it gives you more than Swedish law does. This follows from Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I) within the EU/EEA, from the corresponding Norwegian legislation implemented under the EEA Agreement, and from the Rome I principle retained in UK law after Brexit.
In practice, everything in these Terms is to be read alongside the mandatory protection in your own country and can never leave you worse off than it would.
Which courts. As a consumer you may bring proceedings against us either in the Swedish courts or in the courts of the country where you live. We may bring proceedings against you only in the courts of the country where you live.
Before going to court, talk to us. Most things are quicker to settle directly. Write to info@raod.se and tell us what has gone wrong.
If we cannot agree, you can take the matter to an independent body:
- Sweden: the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, www.arn.se. ARN charges a fee to handle a case.
- Rest of the EU/EEA, including Norway: the alternative dispute resolution body in your own country. The European Commission keeps a current list at https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies.
- United Kingdom: Citizens Advice, or an applicable sector dispute resolution scheme where one exists.
